Q: What is Narrow Way Transport?
A: Narrow Way Transport is an auto transport company that specializes in the transportation of cars, trucks, and SUV’s on open car carriers to various parts of the country on a weekly basis.
Q: How much does cost?
A: The cost of shipping your automobile is not always an easy answer and has many factors that have to be taken into consideration. Here are just a few of the factors; are you shipping a VW Beetle or a Hummer H1, do you want it be transported on an open carrier or enclosed, do you have a set day it has to be picked up or are you flexible on time, are we shipping it 200 miles or 3000 miles? These are just a few of the questions you may be asked prior to shipping your auto, so the best way to find out an exact cost of shipping is to call or email us and we’ll help you make the right decision.
Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: Yes, your satisfaction is guaranteed and you can cancel the shipment of your auto any time prior to 3 days before it ships with no cancellation fees. However is you cancel within 72 hours of the move time you may loose your deposit. The reason for this cancellation fee is because it is very difficult to book another auto to fill the empty space. With soaring fuel prices, and the cost of insurance being so high, it is critical for the truck to carry as many autos as it can.
Q: How long does it take to move my auto?
A: This is another question that has many variables. It typically takes 4 to 10 days to move an auto. However, there are many times that they are moved in 48 hours or less. When you contact us, we will be able to give you a much closer timeline.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes. All autos transported by Narrow Way Transport are insured by our cargo insurance policy that covers up to $250,000 per incident. We do ask that if your auto is valued at more than $50,000 you tell us prior to shipping.
Q: Do you drive my car?
A: No! We DO NOT transport cars by driving them. The mileage is written down on the inspection sheet when the car is picked up and is checked when the car is delivered. Please note that, unlike a horse, the car cannot get onto the trailer by itself and our driver will have to drive it on and off of it. Also, if your auto is the last one picked up but it is not the first one off, it will have to be moved in order to get other cars off the trailer. The drivers try to do this as little as possible because of the amount of time it takes to load and unload cars. We make every effort load the cars in the order they will come off and pickups are made the same way.
Q: Why do you use local tow companies?
A: Many of the cities we go too have narrow streets and/or heavy traffic, simply put, it is not easy to drive an 18 wheeler into these cities. Also other factors also come into play. Things such as do you live on a dead end street, are there low hanging branches of trees that may scratch one of the autos on top of the carrier, are there local laws prohibiting trucks in your area and things of that nature that may cause us to employ a local tow company to aid in the pickup and/or delivery of your auto.
Q: How did you get the name Narrow Way Transport?
A: The owners believe in Jesus Christ. They believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. The Bible says that the road to Hell is wide and the way to Heaven is a narrow path. This is how they came up with the name Narrow Way Transport. It is a way for other believers to recognize us and for non-believers to ask us questions about what we believe. |
